A Country Song
Just recently a new friend of mind
has inspired me to write a new string
of country songs, I hope you'll like this
my first and the ones that follow....HEEEEEEYAAAAAA!!!
Connie's Song
We haven't really been, that good together
Now we've found it hard to simply get along
So instead of being miserable forever
I thought I'd write for you, this parting song
I see it in your eyes, you feel uneasy
Get's harder every day to play long
But picking on each other is getting sleazy
Heck, how on earth did our love go wrong
You told me, you need more than I'm giving
I've replied "you've taken all I have"
We both know this is no kind of living
And every day's another day of Sad
Chorus:
Now the end is here, let's just get on through it
And we both know it's pretty plain to see
Connie if you have to hate someone
Then Connie it's "Ok" if you hate me !
We haven't always been, That good together
We've found it hard to simply get along
And what we thought would last until forever
Has slipped away into a country song
We can spend our time blaming one another
Until our faults are all that we see
So I think That I will make this kind of easy
Connie it's Ok it's ok it's ok if you Hate me !
