A Constanza For Dear Jimmy

A student came from Mexico. He was a sweet and friendly guy just starting out with goals set high. His spirit seemed to have a glow. We all could see it in his smile and how he went the second mile! In three short months, we saw him grow from level one to level two with so much more he meant to do. Alas! What no one could foreknow: While he was on his holiday, An accident took him away. His sudden death; the utter woe of all his friends, his family, and his new bride. A tragedy! Dear Jimmy, we all miss you so, but you were one who loved the Lord, and now you’ve gone to your reward. A student came from Mexico. His spirit seemed to have a glow. In three short months we saw him grow. Alas! What no one could foreknow: His sudden death, ; the utter woe! Dear Jimmy, we all miss you so. Written 1/5/14 For the Constanza Contest of Craig Cornish

Such a sad story about the young man called Jimmy. Did not even know about this form so learn something new. Down with the darn flu so thought I would try and catch up on months of reading. Been in a depressed mood lately and need to snap out of it. Seem to be sick more than i should. love phyl

You've honored him well with the story you tell. May your faith in him rise up above. And when we hear the bell, may we know as well. And be in the arms of God's love. Peace. :) May your soul be strong Andrea.

I began reading this and part way through thought that it read like a Constanza. So I have an acute grasp of the obvious. Well done and sure to earn top marks. Note that Craig wanted the word "Constanza" somewhere in the title. Hope it's OK to suggest.

Such a sad and tragic ending to such promise. One that strikes us all at our core. But the Lord knows your pain, John 11:35 Jesus wept. Know Jimmy is not weeping but in the Glory of God. Take care and God Bless!

Great work honoring your student..That is so sad when there are so many who don't give a darn about anything and are not going anywhere anytime soon..Thanks for the visit to my page.. I always think of Ivy as the poison but there is English Ivy which is not but not a tree just a good climber..I always think of Lilac as a bush but they might go on to make a tree if left alone..Have a great winter day..Sara
