A Congress of Emotions Held
A rare Congress of Emotions was organized in a village
Called to attend were Anger, Love, Sadness, Peace
Others were Hatred, Grief- all to debate on Justice
“No need of a Chairperson”, Anger put a ruling.
Grief stood up. He wept and wept and talked not.
Rising in support, Peace said, “That is justice to Grief.
Each time Love wanted to talk no chance was given
Serious argument broke out but no one listened
“Stopping Love to talk is not fair”, Justice shouted
Over the table jumped Anger. He shouted and shouted.
Freely, Anger expressed himself as everyone kept quiet.
Eventually Peace stood up and greeted, “Peace be with you”
Most members refused to respond due to Anger’s influence
“Open your hearts to the world”, Peace preached.
“Take respect of each one’s rights as vital for Justice to be here
Ignore nobody in society, no hatred, no anger, no grief.”
Over there Sadness said, “That is genocide to our members”.
Not me, Hatred said, you love me not, I hate you much
Silently, Love whispered love, love releasing a Dove to each heart
Hatred and Anger rose up holding swords
Every member got scared as Justice fled
Love’s arm was cut off by Anger
“Danger!!! Love shouted as Peace dashed with him to exile
