A Common Hero
A hero was once born to the mother of nature
destined to fight battles of a commoner
his body unscathed but his soul bore all the scars
to a higher place he was led by fate
breaking his bonds with humans one after the other
heart filled with grief he journeyed beyond
for the pain he suffered the skies cried for him
trees shed their leaves for his bare feet on rocks
he left his heart on the pavement
along the path he chose of which he has forgotten
winds carried him when he can't himself
as his battles were only beginning
he is a poet who has not the seen the sun shine
for so long in darkness what more can he sing about?
