A Clock
even its shape
can be counted in segments
an inhuman face
and arms of different length
static as it moves
pulling life like sifting grass from grain
moments stored
in pointing gaits
always wrong somewhere
foreman of our days
half past whenever
quartered past
future ticks
unheard by the turner
