A Christmas Wish

A Christmas Wish

A sentimental journey pointing to the center of my heart
We laugh then proceed to call someone for added confidence
A tug at the heart will light the flame of what I have been searching for
On a cold morning with no clouds in sight
A whisper was heard in the direction of the wind
Soft music will soothe the hot tempers that I have inside
A small child laughs at his mother underneath the covers
Through a variation in a dream a Christmas wish was heard
Hoping that Santa would bring me a jacket to warm my chest
Thank you for the unique promise in expressing myself
This jacket will be a sign of compassion from above
A tear drop fell from my eyes with a surprise
There was a note left in the right pocket of the jacket
It said to spread the love that comes from above
A thought so sincere had me shed a tear to help numb the pain
There is a thought of the color red when your feeling bad
I will certainly wear the nice jacket with pride thank heavens I'm alive
A love embrace to anyone who will receive
The hero in this case was none other then me
What to achieve in a world that watches you bleed
To soar as an eagle in the clouds apart with no distinction
A cloud is a passing memory of a time well spent in thought
A Christmas wish to a friend somethings can't be bought
