A Christmas Tree

A CHRISTMAS TREE

A tree at Christmas is a must
Whether it’s real or fake
It becomes the heart of just
All homes for us to make
It so beautiful when complete
With decorations of our desires’
And many of us will compete
With neighbours to inspire
To get that Christmas sprit
We think it should have this or that
So we can be the one that bit
The bullet and bought the tat
To complete our tree for all to see
The best tree of all though is the one
From the our hearts you see
That is decorated for the ones you love
To give happiness and joy for all
Who see it standing there all aglow
With pretty lights and the twinkle of tinsel
And many a bauble in a row
Shared delight is what makes
That tree our beautiful at night
The children’s faces while eating cakes
Staring with eyes aglow with the light
From that tree that means so much
That will bring that Christmas touch
