A Christmas Song

The blessed time of the year has come
The prince of peace on Earth is born
Let us hail the king of kings
Let us sing and blow our horn

‘Glory to God and peace on Earth’
The Shepherds once at midnight sang
From every nook, its echoes rang! (Chorus)

Christ is born in our hearts today
Bringing heavenly peace and joy
All around is a convivial air
And everyone, in a mood to enjoy.

Glory to God and peace on Earth’
The Shepherds once at midnight sang
From every nook, its echoes rang! (Chorus)

Behold His tender, lovely face!
Never a flower so sweetly graced
Never has been such peace serene
None on Earth, so widely praised.

Glory to God and peace on Earth’
The Shepherds once at midnight sang
From every nook, its echoes rang! (Chorus)

Christmas gaiety is everywhere
The Earth with rising vigor thrills
Colorful stars brighten the streets
From every church, merry carol trills.

Glory to God and peace on Earth’
The Shepherds once at midnight sang
From every nook, its echoes rang! (Chorus)
