A Christmas Poem
Snow falls like drops of rain
as children chill for every grain;
The mists paint the windowpane
while songs play with great refrain.
On the streets, the children cheer,
sweet smile is what they wear.
Soulful sounds are what you hear
for time has come for end of year.
On the yards, the bonfires blaze,
sinking souls are all in daze;
Frigid faiths are set ablaze,
for, time to love had come to craze.
The time is ripe to sow the seed,
pour one's care to those who bleed;
Give one's love to those in need,
for, love is the greatest deed.
Give one's share of care and affection,
fill the world with hope and compassion.
Give faint hearts their greatest motivation
to live their lives without hesitation.
