A Christmas Gift

A Christmas gift was given me By my granddaughter on my knee; Thinking that I knew Santa Claus, Before she spoke she took a pause Then continued excitedly: “Grandpapa”, she said pleasantly “Can I ask for gifts not for me?” Can I ask to give all Grandpas A Christmas gift?” All I could say was, “Certainly” Then I asked her, “What would that be?” She smiled a smile that has no flaws, “To all be like you are because, To all the grandkids you would be A Christmas gift.”
