A Christian and a Solider

A Christian and a solider, they both seem the same to me Fighting for Jesus Christ, just trying to get others to see A battle that we just can’t let the Devil win We must stand on the front line and fight off all the sin Just because an army of darkness is coming our way We must hold up our shields of faith, plant our feet and stay For the Lord is on our side, fighting with us too And with His help, there is nothing in this world that we can’t do But are you a solider out on that battlefield today When you see a fellow Christian down, do you help him up or walk away Are you fighting for everyone’s life; their salvation We don’t have much time, it says so in Revelation Is your armor nice and shiny, or is it tarnished and gray Do you stand beside others no matter come what may Do you flinch at gunpoint, or do you stay tall Do you have a firm foundation, or do you fall As Christians we have this privilege of going through this battle together Drawing others to Him; getting to live forever Just remember one day we’ll stand in front or our Master, our Lord How many times did you draw YOUR sword
