A Chink In My Armor

A Chink In My Armor (The idiom "chink in one's armor" refers to an area of vulnerability) *** It had never occurred to me that I might have a chink in my armor the light casted in, like rain tapping always on the very same spot My memories were clenched and like a fisted child, I held all valor inside, lost without word I could not undo that solid hurtful, knot; Then came the day when I decided to stop and take a deep breather time stood still and I could feel the handles of time turning me right Movement of heart and soul arose and finally saw neglect's incur it was I clinging to the child inside surfacing from the longest night Daylight greeting me with new awareness and I was finally free every raw truth inside had finally turned to soft and pliable hyde Breath of angels greeted me, as I gently cleared all my debris I found myself in the arms of love, with compassion at my side.

Without every detail offered in this didactic, outreaching poem, Vie has taught: childhood hurts it trauma has to be exposed to Light and Jesus, or God's healing eyes. U seem to also show we can try mefitating our way to health. ThanX. Shalom shalom

I think most of us pass through similar phases in life, Vienna. The main thing is to strengthen the weak points which make us vulnerable, something which you did extremely well in this lovely poem of yours. ~ Warm regards and hugs my friend. /x/ paul

We all have some chink in our armor. Who is perfect? Certainly not I. Yet you ended on a perfect note of compassion and love. Hugs.
