A Chill, a Shiver

The picture of an iceberg gives me a chill A glacier slowly drifting southward a shiver Why is it, for me, the cold is more than an ill, And thoughts of winter make my lips quiver. written December 1, 2021 "Bite Size Poem No. 37" Poetry Contest sponsored by Line Gautheir

Yep. I just don't enjoy the cold, period. I don't think I ever did, even sledding when I was a kid. I can always take off clothes, but I never could put on enough in the winter.

Those long dark cold nights seem to drag on forever. When the sun comes out it's a bonus. Tom

So many people dread the winter, its not the snow but the withdrawal home for so many long months. I pray it be a mild winter so we can get on with spring , hang in there Milton, :)

Ah, I think this might be the case with me. I do hate the gray days, mostly, and the chill I feel when leaving the warmth of my home. I guess I'm just a wuss!
