A Child's View

Pink sunset through the trees
Brushed with yellow
Filled with a breeze
A carnival of colors
Soft and mellow
Into the twilight
Shadows stretch and highlight
This is a place made for dreams
Tangerine glimmers
Prussian blue running streams
Unicorns dancing
Lavender flowers
How enchanting
Sweet smell that deliver
Tiny fairies that make you shiver
Laughing turtles
And talking canaries
Hooting owls
With moving jowls
Jumping crows
Pointing bows
Squirrels singing
Butterflies winging
Natures having a party tonight
Check your season
You might have an invite
What’s all the fuss they said?
Springs arriving tomorrow
Jump out of bed
