A Child Was Born

Love came down that first Christmas eve,
A babe, a Son was born,
The greatest gift we'd ever receive.
Love came down that first Christmas eve,
A Savior for all who would believe,
A holy child by grace adorned.
Love came down that first Christmas eve,
A babe, a Son was born.

The child was called Immanuel,
The Son of God was He.
God with man had come to dwell.
The child was called Immanuel,
His light would shine, darkness dispel,
From Satan's grasp He'd set us free.
The child was called Immanuel,
The Son of God was He.
