A Champion

She was a champion
A warrior
A fighter for the underdog
Queen advocate
We were in awe of her

She would jump into the fray
And fight battles
Before the rest of us
realized they were battles

She took on the wrong combatant
And wound up in the morgue
But not before she impressed us all
And helped us become the assertive women we are supposed to be.

Wow, she must have fought back when someone tried to harm her. These days one can't be too careful who to lash out at.

damn men who do this to women. One day they will get their comeuppance. The pain of one's sins in one's own soul after death

I do believe there is fairness eventually.

And we have to ask who the truly courageous are. Certainly they are not the ones who run with the crowd or mob, but those outstanding ones, the reasoners, those who will fight for what is right! Then it is never easy, often comes with no backers, just God’s eye and that is enough. Blessings!

Thank you Kim. I have been known to have shout outs with men who were in charge; I can think of three off the top of my head.
