A Celebration of Dawn
The sun dips in amongst the grasping trees
It hides it face, but never its blushing pride
It shines with a joyful embrace
The reaches down into you
Unwilling to let you go
Until you take its swelling happiness
With you into your day
Lacking nothing, its splendor is complete
It's simplistic majesty springs daily
And while it hides amongst pines and furs
It’s always easily found
It's the gilded beginning of the dawn's enlightened welcome
That endears itself the birds of the air,
And the beasts of the earth
And man who watches with a careful eye
Through the standing glades
It sends its morning message
