A Cat Winked At Me

Dawn is finally here
Damn, the bed is so comfy I wish I?d stay here
I gotta get up though
I gotta wade through the mysterious thaw of the unknown
I gotta find my new home

I know I will love it here in the city
I know because yesterday night while having supper
A cat came to my window and winked at me for maybe more than three times
First with its left eye, then with its right eye, all the while looking straight in my eyes

I know not what else to make of it
But I know more of divinity than to disregard it
For sure the cat winks were signs
For what, I shall sure discover in time
For now the reality is staunchly on me
And I am still so glad with me
And the best of my reality I?m gonna make it
