A Cat, a Hat, a Goat and a Boat
For the love a cat...she would eat her hat
She would marry a goat...and go to sea with no boat
She would gladly forsake...any human handshake!
but for a ball of pure fuzz...her own head she would buzz
Not to cut this too short...but no last resort
would be too much or too great for her furry soul mates
So keep smart and tread light...her cats hide out of sight
When crossing her room...pounces wait in the gloom
There is no point in counting...the fur balls are mounting
So get ready to sneeze...but still say " Yes please!"
when offered a cat...who is ever so fat
Her dedication is pleasing...but not so much when you are wheezing
Still...never berate her ...for getting there later
for she simply must groom...and over each kitty swoon
and as fur fills the air...she simply won't care
she will just go on preening...till your lint brush ...has meaning
