A Cart and Horse
When I take the reins of a cart and horse,
The world in an instant slows for a day.
I take pleasure in nature's playful source,
And learn how not to think so far away.
I don't set my sights on the course charted.
The horse plays along, (it's an inborn trait.)
I think sometimes he has me outsmarted;
He takes the path that's little used of late.
