A Car Once Driven

I've driven this car before Long before the seats buckled And the windows only stopped halfway I remember the first time I put the key in the ignition How easy it turned and how quiet the engine was Then I shifted into gear and it was sheer ecstasy I felt as if I was floating instead of rolling on wheels But that was the first time I drove this car Now the engine roars And that's only when I can get it started I shift into gear and it hesitates, and then jumps into motion And instead of floating it now shakes me ferociously I will never drive this car again But that doesn't mean I won't ride.
