Quote by _his mother
It was in the morning when the soldier was shoot,
not just once but shoot twice in his back while on guard;
by a terrorist wannabe of ill repute,
it left Canadians weeping and deeply scarred.
On sentry at the Monument for the War Dead;
by the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier his life bled.
As he lay there his tears must have been for his son,
mother, family, dogs- that he would never see;
all the adventures and an army path not done,
a soft sigh . . . and his earthly spirit was set free.
A nation wept as they mourned for this dead young man;
gone 'cause of a terrorist killer with no plan.
