A Canada's Day Celebration

Today is Canada's Day It is a celebration Of our 150th birthday Everyone celebrates It is a street party Closed to the traffic A party for people that live here We will be wearing Our colours red and white The colours of Canada We will have food and drinks Dance until fireworks begin Then watch the fireworks Light up the dark sky Watching the different colours Popping up into the sky With the brilliant colours Appearing one by one Until they are gone To send into the sky

O Canada ... I'm quite fond of my neighbor so close, Darlene. Being a Detroit native, we sit at your front door step ... a stone's throw away. Visited your country many a times. Beautiful land w/even more beautiful people. Of whom, you are most certainly included. Cool poem, enjoyed it very much. Love and smiles always.

I have also been to Detroit passing through from one of our travels going home my husband and I.I live in Kitchener Ontario.Use to live in Wiarton with my husband that passed. Have a nice day my friend Peace and love Always.

Canada Day was a big celebration. We had a closed street party that lasted until midnight. This is when we had fireworks. Everyone had a great time.
