A Calm Moment

Gave myself a calm moment 
Stopped the carousel of life.
Ignoring the hungry horses.

An owl hoots her approval.
Might not have heard her otherwise.
Nurturing wind twinkles some cottonwood leaves.

Would I have seen them? Doubtful.
Robin’s tweet makes me smile. 
Breathing at an all-time low; nature’s nirvana.
