A BUOYANT FEEL

The wind cold and cutting, The rain razor sharp, A lonely Willow tree drips sadly on a Bench in the park, The sky dances with flashing lightening, My heart pounds as nature’s power Begins unleashing Thunder so frightening, Its raw beauty howling In my ears, my spirit crying In defiance against this squall, And nature’s gall. The dark black clouds dissipate, a dull cloud Cover appears, then as suddenly strays, To reveal a star bright sequined sky. Earth and its wonders intoxicating, In my minds eye, my imagination soars, I See turquoise turtles, stripped unicorns, Fantasy flowing, From my veins and pores, Such a delightful, delicate ethereal reality, A collection of the unbelievable, which seems to Clash with rationality. Spring, the most most delicious, picture perfect Season of the year, That brings a childlike calm and nulls the mind of fear, Reveals a magic that seems not of this world, Let every being enjoy this buoyant feel, When disbelief becomes believe, and clear skies Clear one's mind and takes the wheel.

We all have rainbows and colors and wizards and witches and funfairs and unicorns and sequined skies and galactic surprises and so,so much more - THE HUMAN IMAGINATION is such a gift from God my friend. Thank-you, how are you?

I'm looking at this beautiful poem through a metaphorical lens, Jenny, and it works very well for me. The contrasting imagery is delightful, and the positive aura surrounding the final part of the poem leads to feel-good vibes. ~ Warm regards & hugs my friend // paul

As the sky clears after a cloud burst and as stars appear in the clear sky in ethereal beauty, mind also clears. It is a moment when you "see turquoise turtles, stripped unicorns and you feel that 'fantasy is flowing, from your veins and pores' It is such a delightful feeling. Your poem is magical and enchanting and escorted me to a dream world. Love and Hugs, dear friend.

Lovely buoyancy, dear poet. Those turquoise turtles, striped unicorns, clear skies…take the wheel. I can see your hair blowing in the breeze, at that!

Jennifer, a real pleasure to read what you've created. Feeling good can elude us at times, but we can contemplate the storms and appreciate the peace that can develop in the aftermath on many levels. This s a wonderful poem that makes me smile!

Great imagination in this lovely poem. Winter is harsh, but summer scorches. I love Spring and Autumn. Well written.

Is the tramp meant to be you? Or someone else. If the tramp is the subject of the poem it's cool how they go through a mindfulness metamorphosis of sorts to finally achieve clarity and that buoyant feeling of pure joy. Good stuff
