A Buddy & Baily New Year
Buddy the Dog and Baily the Cat,
stayed home on New years Eve
they invited over, some of their friends,
who showed up, they could not believe
Spike the Squirrel, came with Virginia the Mouse,
strolling in arm in arm
Rowdy Raccoon, came by himself,
Callie Calf, came from the farm
As they all sat by the T.V. set,
the New Years show was coming on
when all of a sudden, a knock at the door
Jackson the Pug with a bottle of Dom
His girlfriend Janis, was by his side,
matching sweaters they did wear
Buddy and Baily, welcomed them in,
could not believe, they both were there
Buddy and Baily, had the time of their lives,
all their friends were having fun
the midnight ball was dropping,
it was brighter than the sun
There were no designated drivers,
so, Buddy made a speech
you'll all have to spend the night here,
until the daylight hours we reach
All the friends got settled in,
they found a place to sleep
Buddy and Baily,locked the door,
Their little corner they did seek
After they got snuggled in,
Buddy whispered, in Baily's ear
good night to you, my very best friend,
and by the way, Happy New Year
Happy New Year Everybody on the Soup..................Taz, Jackson, Buddy, Baily and Spike...
