A Broken Winged Angel
As hard a it may seem
I cam across the broken winged
Angel of my dreams.
Lying on the sidewalk
Cold, barely could he breathe.
He frantically whispered in panting breaths,
“My broken, shattered wing.”
At a loss of words,
I collected pieces of his wing.
He touches my arm,
Gently as he looks up to me.
His eyes filled with tears, then he said to me..
“My broken white wing, torn from the seem,
Only one can heal. If you just believe.”
I stop,
Only to see.
The pieces in my hands
Rise an join, becoming one wing.
The angel in the air, fly’s to me.
“You had faith, you believed!”
Within seconds he vanished,
Nowhere to be seen.
The broken winged angel,
From my dreams.
Gone.
I open my heads to find a small wing,
In bold letters it said..
“Just Believe.”
