A Broken Promise
Out of my dream, you came as a
vision blinding my sight.
You looked so graceful and pleasing
to my heart’s delight.
Your presence was calming to my
mood whenever you were around.
Your voice was soothing, like a
gentle evening breeze with hardly
any sound.
Our love was simple and easygoing,
In every corner of our hearts,
contentment and happiness were
overflowing,
Ours was a tale of true love, profound
and divine,
We used to share this tale because
it was ours, yes, yours and mine.
In each other's embrace, we were
spellbound,
In the depths of our Souls, our love
was entwined and bound.
Through life's hardships, our love
stood firm and always remained intact,
And with mutual understanding and
patience, we knew how to react.
In gentle whispers, sweet words were
spoken,
A promise made, now broken,
It seems that none of those things
had any value cause now, you say
they didn't matter,
I believed and trusted in your endless
chatter , and now my heart is
completely shattered.
Time shows no mercy to lovers
For in a single moment,
It shatters two hearts and ruins
two lives.
