A Broken Heart Spoke To Me
Many moons came to pass, many suns came to rise and set
The belief, the thought that made his soul shiver in joy stood his ground
Time itself passed on becoming history in his very sight, it fossilized without a sound
The sun did not set the same way it did before, she was no longer in the scene, no stage was set
The play seemed to conclude, when out of no where yet again signs of her return took event
Butterflies again, anxiety arose, and so did doubt
No replies to his words sent
Casting out dreams, and right there and then all the hope from his heart jumped out
For what is a man to think without proper reason?
Signs of her well being, clearly of joy, yet he emptiness not a single hi
At sight, his heart fell to his feet and it cried, no sign of interest towards the warrior whom would die
Faintly, without reason his dreams became nothing, his spoken words shattered by doubt
I stand to my faith, as a new being slowly enters me bringing strength and hope
A spirit known to all, as the Holy Spirit fills my emptiness little by little intact
A new man will I be? Only my Lord shall know it by fact
I hang on to the bond, a short rope
What will I become, a plan has my Father for me to set me free
To become something greater to His use and I write
I rhyme, my heart drags on by its teeth on my shadow, a long journey and fight
Is she truly happy without me? A broken heart spoke to me
