We can walk away but....sometimes love won't let us leave!
From twenty miles away
I can't see her bedroom light
I don't know if she is sleeping
Or...if she stays out all night
'Cause I won't crawl the distance
And I won't break down her door
Begging her to love me
Like she never did before
But, from a broken heart away
I feel her kisses on my skin
Fighting back the teardrops....
Sure wish I had her back again....
To hear those whispers of emotion
When love had the final say
Well....she knows where to find me
I'm just a broken heart away
'Can't see his car parked in her driveway
'Can't see her opening the door
I tell myself it just don't matter
'Cause I don't love her anymore
But from a broken heart away
I feel her kisses on my skin
Fighting back the teardrops
Sure wish I had her back again
To hear those whispers of emotion
When love had the final say
Well...She knows where to find me
I'm just a broken heart away
