A Brilliant Light

A brilliant light I see while leaving earth's grey mist.
Approaching it, I see inside of its white glow -
the precious smiling souls of those I've loved and missed.
Sweet clarity! All things I'd wondered - now I know.

Andrea, nice to see this one in the winner's circle with its beautiful message and nicely cadenced iambic hexameter, which I think is kind of rare for you. But you know, meter and syllable count is not the same thing *wink* ;^)
