A Breathing Tempest

You used to be that tempest A raging tempest in a moving car Thunder echoes in your chest A chest keeping all that is bizarre Relinquished every last in a heartbeat Unshrouding your vulnerabilities You whispered to the one who'd make the sky split To the one who knows your past victories Tell's about this hamster wheel Wheeling through your afterthought You sure sound like a tempest, still Still a tempest, just in a broken teapot
