A Box of Shadows

Those words were painfully written
And it won’t make any different
For you can’t stop those tears
Or face your deepest fear
You let your tears turned bone-dry
How pathetic, you let yourself live in a lie
The woods are lonely, crying in his sleep
Shivering for love that he instantly needed
Broken wings, broken soul
Coz’ life is a conditional crime
Time in here is flat and outright
You let your life come undone
You got questions inside of you
So practical nothing illogical
If you can breathe the air of forgiveness
Then you finally found the path you’re willing to go
No time to rebuild than to fight
The dream is waiting for us to be found
Mend your wings, cured your soul
Coz’ life is a line of a chronicle
