A bottomless pit can’t be filled
As if cast into the world, a flood it creates,
Yet still, the people fail to see their fates.
Though wealth may shine bright, filling every space,
Their hearts grow weary, losing hope's embrace.
The world has blinded them, lost in its maze,
They take the green paper as their praise.
While the needy struggle, their hearts tight as stone,
Digging for riches, yet feeling alone.
In a village where greed finds no room to grow,
A bottomless pit can’t be filled, this we know.
Even if a camel swallows with glee,
It won't gain a drop from a needle’s decree.
With heads hung low, they wander in grief,
All troubles arise from a mind lacking belief.
I fear the facade of this time we all share,
Why do people not tremble at death’s cold stare?
