Sara, this is as delicate as the silk petals of the iris and so visual! I also came to love iris through the iris in my grandmother's garden. Love that you are back! Blessings! Here's to grandmother's and gardens!

Such a delicate and beautiful image—‘a blue flock’ captures the irises’ grace perfectly. A sweet tribute to cherished memories.

I’ve always loved irises, planted quite a few for this spring. Only problem is they’re over so quick. Enjoyed your flowery monoku, Sara. Terry

tis true, Terry, they do fade pretty quickly especially in our Texas heat. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting!

Sara, Ahhh...irises. They do make quite an impression when given the space to expand and grow. Really lovely...we had a patch of them at my parents home as well. The way they spread is quite remarkable and beautiful. You captured it all elegantly. Take care and smiles!!
