A Blind Date Destined To Fail
A Blind Date Destined To Fail
By Elton Camp
The solution, Medusa didn’t know
She had trouble keeping a beau
Men she met, to stone converted
Unless their eyes were diverted
Snakes she had in place of hair
At her, not a man dared to stare
“I think I can help,” a friend said
“Of a powerful man I have read.”
When Pat came into the café,
All her snakes just ran away
Medusa, without her hair,
Felt so extremely bare
“Ireland’s snakes you can expel,
How dare you do mine as well!”
