A Blessing To Me
Simply today
No negative
Hit the ground running
Outlasted the demon
Put the playlist of life together
Sunshines and sunsets
Has never been the same
Walk out of the bubble
Turn the train around
Hit like thunder
Beauty like lightning
Took me away
God I am so glad I stayed
This world ain't the enemy
Myself the allie
To my dream
I want to write
I want to put feeling to life
I need to make sense
I search once more for love
So many obstacles but I am not scared
I going to take my fight to the grind
Squeeze every inch of hope out this time
50 is not a reason to forget
Not a reason to surrender
It's a celebration of how far I have come
From the dark to the light
It's the reality that life is happy
Even if you are alone
Because the lessons learned
Have change all I have
Because what I have will always be a blessing to me.
