A black & white kitten
I met on Easter Day
My niece named her
      Ronnie
She is very playful
Always on the go
She came to me - then
Jumped upon my lap
She wanted to play
So we did for hours
With a large stick-
With a large feather
We both enjoyed the
           fun

I love cats and cat poetry, Darlene, and I especially enjoyed this one. I have a dear tabby named Jeff and he is a great companion, Follows me around like a puppy and is snoozing on the desk as I type this. Glad you enjoyed the Curious Epitaphs write and thanks for commenting. Bob

I love this, I've lived this and continue to do so. The poem excited me so much that I wish to converse with you, share our mutual love of felines. I have 4 and would love to share a poem with you based on my herd - it's called, "Crazy Cat Lady Maybe" and will have to serve for an actual conversation! Very nice Darlene. I have adopted a one yr. old rescue cat. She is pure black with one white star at the base of her throat. she has green eyes and is very talkative and playful. I love her very much and she gets on great with our other two cats. A house is not a home without a cat. God Bless, JB
