A Bicycle Ride In The Forest

(Verse 1)
The morning mist hangs on the tall pines,
the rhythm of my paddling legs follows their lines.
Maddening crowd is a memory blown away by breeze
as I glide through the shadows of the towering trees.

(Verse 2)
In the sprawling pristine thicket I wander,
see the golden sunrays glow the leaves in splendor.
The rising sun bursts with colors on calm canopy,
in the soothing depth of silence I sink in serenity.

(Chorus)
On carpet of gilded needles the bicycle wheels spin,
hum a soft tune with the wind turning into a violin.
Sunlight seeps through the leaves in spectral beams,
I ride through the stillness of the woodland dreams.

(Verse 3)
In the embracing breeze the boughs quiver in glee,
make me feel the thrill of joy rippling through me.
The mystique motif of the lattice of light and shadow
I hold enthralled within me for how long I don’t know.

(Verse 4)
Out of the cool cradle of copse I’ve a long way to go
with the forlorn life across the amber landscape fallow.
Grandeur of emerald sheen in my mind I’d strive to stow,
create for my pale essence an expanse of jade meadow.

(Chorus)
On carpet of gilded needles the bicycle wheels spin,
hum a low tune with the wind turning into a violin.
Sunlight seeps through the leaves in spectral beams,
I ride through the stillness of the woodland dreams.

(Outro)
Deep in the lush green scene the still silence is sweet,
the tranquility of the forest offers me as a treat.
There is no ticking of clock, no clamor in the calm air,
just clicking of the bicycle and the wilderness to share.

A breathtaking ride Subimal. Beaty in symmetry, rhyme, alliteration - so easy on the ears! :)
