A Better Way
Somedays when life has me all beat up
And drives me to my knees
And theres no one to console me
I find comfort, Lord, in thee
You say you'll never leave me,
And by faith alone i believe
That you will deliver me from madness
Before i become decieved
The lie of Satan says im worth nothing
A loser with no hope at all
But God says im a child of the kingdom
And on him i choose to call
Theres been times ive wandered on my own
Just to have things my own way
And God just smiles and lets me go,
Knowing i'll come back to him someday
So when life decides to beat on me
And i suffer the enemies ploys
I know my God has greater for me
So now i count it all as joy
