A Better Memory

i realize now that i have a choice
i finally found my voice
all you did was push me down
but i picked myself up off the ground
you shoved an yelled
and made my life hell
all i wanted was to love you
and for you to love me too
but in the end you abused it
my love for you didnt mean ****
so i stood up for the first time
i took my life back, i took whats mine
you were never good for me
you'll always be a better memory

- Sad .... the ground goes both up and down - but if we fall deep... is it just one way to go ---> upward and forward. - A clever poem Katie! - Have a great weekend. - oxox // Anne-Lise :)
