A Beautiful Girl Sat In a Wheelchair With Glasses On
Just today
I seen a beautiful girl with glasses on
Sat outside a pub in a wheelchair
Whilst I out driving passed her
With what I took as a look of despair
Behind those glasses in her eyes
And it made me almost want to cry
for her
Knowing not the sense of what she
must feel like
And having to face the prospect
Of what she must have to go through
And struggles she must have to
Endure on a daily basis every single day
Bound to a chair
And what inner strength she must find
In order to get her through
And although me simply just feeling
sorry for her or pitying her
Will like I driving come to pass
It will still be for her
Her daily coming reality
Yet again awaiting her
Tomorrow morning
When she wakes up
And has to climb into her wheelchair
In order for her to get around
And all I can do
Is wish her well
Which isn't really actually going to do her
Or help her out in any way
I can only just hope and pray
She doesn't want or need my help
Either
Rather she was just instead
Having a bad day like we all of us do
From time to time
Probably selfishly so it makes me
Or I can feel somehow better for
Or her behalf
