A Beautiful Day
It was a bright and cheerful sunny day
The wind was soft and light
A great day to be out fishing
Or even out flying a kite
My eyes were staring far into the sky
Watching the clouds and birds go drifting by
Relaxing on my back, next to the river
The thought of a big fish, give me the shivers
But, even though there were no clouds around
It starts to rain, it was such a peaceful sound
As quick the rain came, it had just disappeared
Now my only thought was there is no fish
But this was not something to be feared
The only thing to do now is watch the river and flies
Keep a good look out and hope a rainbow will begin to rise
