A Beaten Life

He loves me, he really loves me,
Is that why there's bruises down your back?
It was my fault, it's always my fault
What did you do?
Told him to stop.
I can't leave him.
Are you afraid of fear?
If I leave he will kill me
How can he kill you if he loves you?
Can I leave him?
You can leave and live again
Was it really my fault?
There's no fault in getting beaten
I loved him
You loved him enough to leave him
Why did this happen to me?
It happens to the unexpected
He loves me, he really loves me
Is that why there's bruises down your back?
