A Beacon of Light

Here I go, treading through the dark forest
My inner soul changes from dark to light
Behind, in front, sideways; the lights, soarest!
I go, unaware of my inner plight

Within me, lights the dark pathway ahead
There is no more dread, for goodness prevails
A bridge ahead I glide thoroughly undead
Trample on bitter weeds of evil; veils

An all powerful being shines down on me
Veiled by mercy and compassion; prostrate
Here I go, now leaving the forest ; free!
No fear, shame, guilt, regret; I celebrate!

Soaring through gates of luminosity
Amidst the light of blessed felicity
