A Bavarian Winter

The winter makes me fold into myself
                          the time for sleep,
                          the cold inside my ears

Each insignificant leaf
                         frost bleached
                         and perfect
Each frozen drop
                         eternally kept,

This the wreck of winter,
Breath of an arrow, to be lost inside.
