A Bang Up Sunset

Gold birds at sunset
gliding ribbons of color
crowned by falling night
Far off visions in blooms lure
Beneath red firecracker stars

Cream moon's following
with determined velvet light
aiding dusky plight
Cherry red before they bed
velvet green and goodbye sun
