A Bad Lesson

Now I understand the world
Though within broken system
Like sad elephant
Mourning death the death of its calf
Facing reality with a sad tone
And dispirited by horror of living
When trying to hold on to the rope
But always falling down in garbage den
Where only scavengers search for food
Making me realize pain of nothingness
When people lose dignity to world of poverty
While deceived by powers ruling over them
Letting them down beyond every sunrise
As they hold tight to riches
Gained from blood and sweat of the powerless
Trapped forever in their sorrow
In an unbearable scenario
That leaves me with burning pain
Making me learn bad lesson
In heartbreaking manner
With my soul restless
Like the sea and the wind
As I move around
Resembling dark clouds
