A&D

(d)
take me to the fields
just outside the city,
bury me, sow me into
the seeded seams.
leave free my feet
so i may still
find my dreams.
the city will come to me.

(a)
lay me upon the green hills
just further past the fields.
break me free from the lights that
blind me in the city.
smells of sweet grass and honest air.
the city will stay behind.
