I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Sadly this is what it's about, getting "even" and then suddenly, both are cheaters, and both are losers in the end. I love the reality here in your words, like a sad story unfolding before me. You're a good writer!

Man :) That is horrible..... and good. And it's a song, isn't it? If not, it should be. But oh boy ... This part is very good: ""I'm not finished, though; we both cheated, so we're both equal, right? // We've both been leading lives, reasoning with sequences of lies // That repeat and re-arrive, by each and every night // and each day, we lie to others and ourselves just to seem brave // Good to see you back with a poem.
